If THQ approves of this project, why not allocate some dev resources to help getting it up and running? And if they don't approve, then I guess it would have been shut down already. It's apparently a fan made game, but looks super polished in this early state, almost like it's being developed by an official team (seems like it's being done in Unreal Engine). To sweeten the blow, Crytek announced they would release TimeSplitters: Rewind for both the PS4 and PC.
